ADIC's Goals

1. Restoration of the Almonte commercial section on the east side of Shoreline back to its natural state as marsh.

2. Fund Raising
   A. Create a County Service Area (CSA)

3. Improve the Infrastructure of Almonte Streets
   A. Provide Safer Streets:
      1. Repair roads.
      2. Improve signage, lines, etc. for safer streets.
      3. Address the problem of large trucks on Almonte’s small roads.
   B. Improve Street Parking:
      1. Placement of “No Parking” Signs.
      2. Show where it is legal to park, perhaps by painting parking spaces
         on the pavement.
      3. Remove Shrubbery
   C. Repair and upgrade bus stops.

4. Create a Code/Regulation that prohibits trees from blocking a neighbor’s view or sunlight, perhaps similar to the ordinance that is in Tiburon.

5. Arrange for the utility/telephone wires to be placed underground.

6. Landscaping, starting at the main entrances (including the placement of appealing Almonte signs at the Almonte entrances).

7. Preserve and Upgrade the pathways. Prevent building that blocks the usage of pathways. Create fund to help owners who live along the pathways to build fences that provide privacy but don’t impede the pathway traffic.

8. Improve the ADIC Clubhouse.

9. Communicate Safety Tips to Almonte Residents.

10. Be involved with the Gateway Coalition

11. Encourage Tam Valley District to landscape Hawk Hill Park.
