ADIC's Mission
The main purpose of the Almonte District Improvement Club is to promote and contribute to the civic welfare and betterment of the Almonte District Community and its environment. In doing so, the ADIC promotes community awareness and encourages the discussion of questions of the day. It maintains the Almonte Clubhouse for community programs and activities. The ADIC is the voice of Almonte, addressing issues such as: emergency preparedness, land use and development, flood control, marshland protection, open space, public transportation, traffic congestion, beautification, and basic infrastructure, including road safety and maintenance.
